Theme – Interventional Oncology

The MOSM 2017 is unique in its multi-professional perspective to the scientific program because it will feature plenary sessions on latest developments and advancements in the next generation of cancer management. These topics encompass a wide range of related specialties and allied professions by renowned international and interventional radiologists, clinical oncologists, gastroenterologists, hepatologists, respiratory physicians, pathologists and many other specialists. The symposium is aimed to create a regional platform to meet and discuss issues of mutual interest.

In addition, there will be a themed pre-congress live training workshop, namely “Masterclass in cTACE” which will focus on training of the advanced techniques in cTACE for Hepatocellular Carcinoma (HCC). The workshop objective is to provide a notable opportunity for exhaustive analysis as well as in-depth discussion on specific scopes of cTACE, supplementary to provide a training ground for the regional young IRs.

WIRES Workshops & Conference

WIRES (Workshops in Interventional Radiology Education in Singapore) will be held alongside the 2017 RadiologyAsia conference and exhibition. WIRES will feature one scientific session, with 4 conference topics; a lunch symposium, jointly held with APSCVIR (Asia Pacific Society of Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiology); and 4 wide ranging interventional focused workshops.

3rd Scientific Meeting of Asia-Pacific Association of Image Guided Therapy in Oncology, that is going to be held in Hong Kong from 22nd to 24th of June.

Image guided therapy is known as the 4th pillar of cancer therapy. Advances in treatment could be life changing for cancer patients.
